浜辺には「汐干狩り」の文字が躍っています。

娘が小学生の頃所属していたサッカークラブで「汐干狩り」に行くことになりました。
横浜の八景島シーパラダイスの近くに良い"狩場"があるというのです。
私たちのサッカークラブでは女の子たちを楽しませる行事が盛りだくさんでした。
なんなら肝心のサッカー練習より、遊びがメインのようでした。😁

先輩コーチがにこやかに私に言いました。😋
汐干狩りに海パンなんて気合入りすぎー、と笑っていました。🤭
ところが、それが当日思いもよらぬ展開になるのです。それは…
「さあ、行こか」
先輩の格好を見て驚きました😱。というのは…
彼は、海パンを履き、頭には水中眼鏡、右手には何やら長い棒を、左手にはペットボトルを細工したものを持っているではありませんか！😱
「ど、どこ行くんすか！？」
にやにやしている彼の後を追って海に入りました。
ずんずん進み、腰まで水が浸かるところまで来ました。
「砂地なんかじゃ取れないのよ」
彼はこう言って、肩まで水に浸かりながら貝を“刈る”のです。
もちろん私も参加。これがもう面白いほど取れるのです。🎉
浜辺で待っていた女の子たちも大喜び。🤩
「汐干狩り」は浅瀬ではなく、沖に出てやるものだったとは…。
これから「汐干狩り」シーズンですよね！

When my daughter was in elementary school, the soccer club she belonged to went on a clam digging trip.
It is said that there is a good place near Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama.
Our soccer club had a lot of events to entertain the girls.
Play seemed to be the main thing rather than the essential soccer practice.
(However, many seniors on this team played an active part in winning the World Cup!)
