My grandma and I went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch.
My grandma is 88 years old, so she needs help for many things to do.

I was helping her to have a sit, and I asked a staff to serve 2 glasses of water for us though it was self-service.

The Chinese lady staff said “no, it is self-service. I don’t want to”.
I was like 😳? I asked another staff again.
She said “no it is self-service, you must do it by yourselves. My hands are very oily” with her hassled face.
Then she started gossip in Chinese languages, haha, really bad service though.

Then I said “I can’t do it at the moment, because I am helping my grandma”.
They were saying something in Chinese, then “so then?” They asked me.
I felt so bad at their such a bad behaviour actually.

The a customer stood up and said to me “let me help you😊”. She served water for us!!!😭🙏🏼
My anger immediately was gone, I could see she was an angel or something like that.

Just for water, she made us smile.

昨日池袋の小籠包屋さんにババと行った。
ババはもう88歳で色々やるのに手助けが必要。
ババが座るのを手伝っていた時、水を下さいと店員に頼んだところ、
「セルフサービスです」の一点張り。
「おばあちゃんを世話しているので代わりに水をとってもらえますか？」と言ったら
「セルフサービスだから無理。自分でやって。私の手は油がついてる。」
と、他の店員が手袋をしながら言ってきた。
いやいや、その手袋取ればいいやん。
と思いながら、
おばあちゃんが腰を下ろすのに時間をかけていてそれを手伝うのに必死。
それを見てその店員達は、色々と中国語で文句を言い始めた。
凄いサービス。笑
もう私のフラストレーションは溜まる一方で、は？！って言おうと思った時に
1人の女性客が「私が汲みましょう😊」と仰ってくれて、
一気に心が洗われた。

本当水ごときにキレる私も、何もやらない中国人店員もちっぽけ。
でも水だけで人を幸せに出来るあの女性にあっぱれ。
にしても、小籠包はめちゃくちゃうまかった。

サービス良くないけど

美味しい小籠包が短時間で食べたい人、
オススメです。笑
