What do you do when you are sleepy?

wash your face? take a walk? Or do you just use eye drops to wipe away your drowsiness?

So today I'm going to change my tastes a little and talk about a simple way to beat sleepiness on the spot.

First is the conclusion.

It means to continue to give your body a light stress.

Let's be specific.

For example, sitting with an uncomfortable protrusion on your lower back, pressing a golf ball against the soles of your feet and grimacing, or chewing on something more chewy because gum is less stressful. Is that the place?

Being drowsy means that your parasympathetic nerves are dominant, so you probably aren't conscious of it.
But my breathing is slow and deep.

In other words, the sympathetic nervous system works just by making this breathing fast and shallow, so just changing the way you breathe will make you drowsy, but continuing to breathe fast and shallow is also kind of exhausting, so external stimuli can help your body. It is a strategy to continue stressing and blow off sleepiness.

The only thing I would like you to be careful about is not overdoing it.

Excessive stimulation will only hurt your body, so on the contrary, it will cause too much stress, cause irritation, and you will not be able to concentrate, so please be careful.
