Thoughts in business

I'm Ryoya who works in the Agent Sales team in an Electronics trading company.

Our cusomer is some agent companies. We expand selling new components which we take as an agent company of some manufactures.

I have three things I've thought of recently and would love to take this opportunity to introduce them.


①What sales are


First of all, I think that sales are to help clients in bussiness with our products, beneficial information and helpful services.
"Our products solve the problems about price, quantity, lead time and specification such as size and electrical property."
"This product has adapted to printer and drone in order to detect the angle."
"With a lot of vendors we have interacted for decades, we can suggest alternative ideas to make your procuring activity better."
We don't have only the choice to introduce the vendor's name, but also we have the choice to show the advantages for clients in any conditions.
The former equals the empty vessels and recommending clients what we want sell. However, the latter deserves trust from the clients because it focuses on the client's demands, I think.

②The difference between teaching and coaching


Secondly, working and performing in a specific organization, we would face the situation that boss teaches and coaches freshmen.
Teaching gives freshmen the knowledge of boss, and their relationship is like a teacher and a student in school.
Coaching gives freshmen some realizations by asking some questions that leads them to think, and their relationship is flat.
It is important for us to use above methods properly to train freshmen in any organization in my opinion.

③Unnecessity of becoming emotional


Finally, as one of the challenges I've faced, I tend to be emotional when someone else claims different opinion from mine, harass me and give me some problems which are very difficult to solve.
I know the cause why I become emotional and angry.
It's attributed to that I expect someone else.
Because every sense of values differs, I have to accept or ignore them in the business situation.

Considering the above three themes, I'll go to the next phase to develop my values better than now.
Before complaining someone else, I keep expecting myself always.
