Why Haven't I Noticed Such Simple Things In Life?

Got A Call From A Friend When Chilling With Netfix

I got a call from my friend who is living in the same apartment. We actually go to the same uni too. Oh my gosh, it's already been ten months since I moved in this apartment and I'm moving out in 2 months. At first, I was kind of nervous because I had never lived by myself. But that nervous feeling went away one month after I started living here. Actually I pretty much enjoy it. I have much more freedom and I can do whatever I want any time I want. There is nobody that disturbs me doing what I think need to do to grow. So that is really good.
But at the same time, I often find myself hanging around my room all day without going outside at all because my room is the perfect comfort zone. And often times, I waste my time just watching youtube videos or literally doing nothing.
And this guy living next door called me to ask me to open the door of the apartment (our building has the security door before going to our own individual room). So I opened the door and said hi to the guy and he was like 'why are you still home right now? Go have fun outside!'. This phrase literally opened my eyes and made me realize the very simple thing that I often forget. That is 'Go outside and have fun' = Enjoy the now

Every Single Day, Inch By Inch

Although life is sometimes hard, good things will come in your way as long as you don't give up and keep moving forward inch by inch no matter what circumstances you are in. What my friend said to me is the key to doing this.
'Go outside and have fun!'

Thanks bro for reminding me of this very simple, yet very important thing in life. I feel fortunate about the people surrounding me and I always learn something from them.
I try not to stay stable in comfort zone but to always move around, get myself in new environments and try new challenges.

Remarks Made Two Days After Writing This Article

I feel like I do know what I'm supposed to do, but I haven't been organizing myself in terms of schedule/ time management. So I end up wasting time hanging around in my room and going to campus just to climb in the gym. Recently I found out the time management system that could be useful and help me become more intentional about the amount of time I have. I just gotta do it. If your room is so comfortable and there is laptop in front of you, I know you'd rather sit on the couch than move your ass outside. But that is what I would regret in several years. That's what I know for sure.

Let me share this quote because I really like this.

'Simple things in life are what matter.'
