The purpose of using each app

(Brave)
To look up things on the internet. For example, I search for the meaning of words I don't know to expand my knowledge/ vocabulary. I also check news to catch up with what's going on in the world. And I learn things through the internet, so when I wanna know something deeply I often go to the internet and browser lots of articles and youtube videos to efficiently consume knowledge/ information.

(Instagram)
I use it as a communication tool with certain friends. But over the past few weeks I used it just to waste time scrolling on the screen and being a dopamine junkie. But to be honest, I kind of learned the humor of English speaking countries by putting so much time on instagram and seeing lots of funny meme videos.
Q, What can I replace this with? - Internet, funny meme videos= Twitter meme list?
Anyways, I could've used that amount of time to do work out and further improve my English speaking.

(Music)
To release my stress and get my mind off other things to do. And it's also good to exercise facial muscles and train the way your facial muscles and tongue move by listening to a wide variety of English songs.

Why do I use a smartphone?

Two reasons.
1, I wanna better myself. Okay right now, I've been trying to improve my English. By using smartphone and the internet, I can do a bunch of things to make it better. And writing articles on note is of course one of them. In the era of internet, we can improve ourselves and get better day by day almost for free and we could even earn money by sharing those experiences. This is all thanks to internet.

2, Smartphone is convenient. You can communicate with your friends and family at any time and any place you want. You can also buy stuff without going outside. You can take notes, search for destinations, take pictures and share them with others, check and write emails and arrange schedule on calendar.

What I don't wanna do but often find myself doing is waste time and nothing changes before and after I do it. Just scrolling on social media is a good example. It doesn't help you to better yourself. It just keeps drawing dopamine from your brain and keep your face sticking on the screen.

What I think is the best screen time so far…

- smartphone: 2h 45m
- laptop: 2h 15m
- ipad: ~30m

I'll keep on track of my screen time to see if it meets my usage limit!!
