You Don't Have to "Forgive and Forget

Some things are too painful.

But you need to give yourself permission to grieve and let go.

After many years of struggling, I realized when people say "forgive and forget"
it doesn't mean saying "the wrong done to you is OK."

It's not, ever.

Forgiving has little to do with the offender.

It's more like a decision to say it's OK to move on and not let the "offender " have any power of you.

Including your thoughts, feelings, plans, relationships, aspirations.

It's OK to leave them in the dust and move on.

Give yourself the gift of your power back.

Don't let them continue to hurt you with your thoughts.

Let them face their own destiny.
