Once, in the African savannah, a shooting star whistled across the night sky.

I thought that there were quite a lot of stars falling, even though we can't see them.

And I felt like I was on Earth.

I was looking up at the dazzling Milky Way, and I saw a satellite moving through it.🛰

It's raining a lot this time of year, so it looks like the stars won't be visible.

I still prefer the lunar calendar for Tanabata.🎋

Did you know that the processing contaminated water tanks that cool the Fukushima nuclear power plant will be full in about two years because there is nowhere to put them?😃

To tell you the truth, for the past 10 years I have been away from information on TV and newspapers, so I didn't know this 💦.

Living in the Kansai area, I realized after all this time that I hadn't seen it as a matter of familiar issues ...Sorry 🙏

As I learned through my research, the water contains radioactive substances such as tritium, cesium, and strontium.

They are removed from the water by adsorbing them into a cylindrical filter called an adsorption tower, which is inside the ALPS, a device that removes radioactive materials.

But the tritium is present in water form and cannot be removed by filtration.

Other radioactive materials will be harder to remove completely.

More and more tanks of contaminated water are being built.

More and more of the adsorption towers are being used.

And...

By 2022, we will have treated contaminated water tanks.

It means we're going to have a whole lot of space to store it, so what are we going to do with it?

Now, would the government dump it into the ocean?

Do you want to distill it and release it into the atmosphere?

Would you choose otherwise?

Let's hear what the people have to say.

So the government was asking for public comments until July 31.
