In Japan, the month of June is closely associated with the "Tsuyu" or rainy season, which typically extends from June to mid-July. This period holds significance as it coincides with various seasonal events in the country.

Raising the curtains to the REALITY CON World Tour!

The large-scale offline event "REALITY CON" by REALITY has gone beyond Japan and will now be held in various locations around the world!

On May 27th we held our first-ever overseas event, the REALITY Con 2023 in Jakarta. We will now report some highlights of this special day!

The event also featured a DJ Boot, and some of the attendees even brought their musical instruments! It looks like everyone was having a lot of fun, as expected from our Indonesia server users, famous for their music streams.✨

What surprised me the most was that even among international users, the culture of showing your smartphones with your REALITY account and avatar exists, as we can see in the middle picture of the first row in the collage above!😊

The world of the smartphone and PC game "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion: Lost Stories", which celebrated its 1st anniversary on May 17, opens for a limited time!

KMF models, KMF motions, and character illustrations in the world are provided by f4samurai, the developer/operator of LSST! Let's celebrate the 1st Anniversary together in the LSST World!🎶

Simultaneously with the release of new emotes in the Worlds, we held a special campaign named REALITY World Challenge! 
In this event, you could use the new emotes and the Worlds to record videos and share them with the world using our hashtag. ✨

① As a participation prize, everyone who recorded videos in the Worlds received 100C!
② 10 posts that used our hashtags were chosen to receive 10 Gacha Tickets as a prize!

Metaverse! I’m REALITY’s CEO, DJ RIO!🤘

Recently, there have been more opportunities to directly communicate information to users and answer their questions through official programs like REALITY Update Showcase and AMAs on the Discord official server. It makes me happy to realize that our service is being used by a large and diverse group of people, and it also brings about new discoveries.

And, as I am writing this on May 23rd, this weekend is the long-awaited REALITY CON 2023 in Jakarta. I am excited to meet all the REALITY users in Indonesia!

I am really looking forward to experiencing the enthusiasm of the Indonesian community firsthand.

Hello! I’m Shizu, a product manager at REALITY.

Lately, I have been brainstorming ideas for campaigns to make REALITY more enjoyable for users. It would make me incredibly happy if you could discuss these campaigns on Twitter or during your streams.

Now, the campaign in May was named "Film Festival." Do you happen to know why it was given that name? Actually, the campaign name was inspired by international film events taking place in Europe around the same time.

In the past, our campaigns have drawn inspiration from various festivals. For example, the "REALITY Carnival 2023" in February was themed after the Carnival celebrated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Similarly, the "Happy Shamrock 2023" in March drew inspiration from St. Patrick's Day, the birthday of Saint Patrick in Ireland. And in the same month, the "REALITY Easter 2023" campaign was designed around the theme of Easter, which celebrates the resurrection of Christ.

These campaigns and researching festivals from around the world can indeed spark a desire to visit those places in person!

Hello everyone! Community Manager Thomas here.

As you guys know, our first-ever international event happened in May. Personally, thinking back to 2 years ago when the international servers started opening, this was a huge step in the right direction in my opinion.
We weren’t so sure about the number of users that would actually try to get the tickets and try to join the event, so our plans were aiming at a 100 attendees event. However, to our surprise, the number of applicants easily exceeded 3000 and we are already reflecting on how to improve the next ones too.

Some interviews were conducted with Indonesian users to be sure about how to proceed with the event, for example, “Should we try to avoid the Ramadan period?”, and “What would you like to see in the event?”, and that insight was really helpful to go on with the event.

Let’s check some of the pictures that IKURA sent me!

▽ Right outside the airport

▽IKURA also tried the most delicious dish in the world, "Rendang"!

▽The entrance area! This time, we rented out a large café to host the event!

▽The setup process! There were a total of five photo corners.

▽We set up two displays, creating a corner where people could enjoy REALITY on a big screen! One of the displays continuously streamed the broadcasts of Indonesian users.

▽There was even a user who did a singing stream while cosplaying as IKURA! Thank you so much, panDa!

▽Many users came to visit with their original avatar business cards! Actually, IKURA was recognized because his hair color is basically the same as his avatar, so some users approached him and asked “Are you IKURA?”

▽The scene at the DJ booth was incredible. This one would not be so common in Japan, so our team was surprised with how popular this turned out to be.

▽The atmosphere during the group photo was wonderful! Everyone's smiles were so lovely🥹🫶

▽On the way back, there were so many messages on the message board! It was truly heartwarming and an unforgettable day filled with joy and excitement.

The following day, IKURA had the opportunity to listen to various stories from REALITY users in Indonesia, who have over 700 members in their Discord community. Crossing over to the country of Indonesia and engaging in conversations with the users once again made us keenly aware of how REALITY as a service is experienced and perceived differently by people from various countries and how communities can differ as well. These three days were truly eye-opening.

With that being said, thank you so much to all our users! And thank you so much to the attendees of our first-ever offline event!
