Hiking Adventure to Jangsan Summit:Hiking Trip to BUSAN#01

August 2024
Nestled in the heart of Busan, Jangsan Mountain offers an exhilarating escape from the bustling city life.

Starting Point: Jangsan Station

The journey began at Jangsan Station, conveniently located on Busan’s Metro Line 2. From Exit 12, I made my way to Daecheon Park, which is about a 20-minute walk from the station. The park serves as the gateway to the mountain, with well-marked trails and lush greenery welcoming hikers.

The Ascent

The hike started with a gentle incline through the forested paths of Daecheon Park. The trail was well-maintained, making it accessible for hikers of all levels. As I ascended, the path became steeper and more rugged, with large rocks and tree roots adding to the challenge.

Final Push to the Summit

The final stretch to the summit was the most challenging part of the hike. The trail narrowed and became steeper, but the promise of panoramic views kept me motivated.
The view from the top was absolutely worth the effort – a sweeping panorama of downtown Busan, the ocean, and the surrounding islands.
