What is "Roopt Kagurazaka DAO?"

"Roopt Kagurazaka DAO"

This Japanese style shared house is located in Kagurazaka. Members of Roopt Kagurazaka DAO share their opinions and make rules for the shared house governance.

By introducing its activities, I will tell you what the "Roopt Kagurazaka DAO" is like.

■What is the flow of operation?

Roopt Kagurazaka DAO members' main activity is to manage the shared house.

The shared house residents and token-holders will play a central role in making the rules. The process is based on a dialogue using Discord chat.

In other words, it is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

The Processes

Then, we will decide on things by following 3 simple processes.

■What kind of topics are discussed?

There are channels for each process in Discord.

１．Job offer

This is a channel for recruiting members for projects and tasks.
For example, we had the cooperation magazine project.
Members took an initiative to be an editor and publish the content online.
This article on the Note is one example.

You can also recruite members to assemble beds.
The member who accepted the job offers visited the shared house, received the beds from the courier, carried them into the rooms, and assembled the beds.

Besides, there were recruiting posts to guide visitors through the shared house or to accompany repoters to take photos and videos.

２．Proposal/Vote/Resolution

This is a channel for posting proposals for a certain agenda.
DAO members will review the proposals and options before voting. If a proposal needs to be withdrawn or revised, we will adjust the proposal accordingly.
Voting will be done on Snapshot.

You can also check the status of proposals in progress, to be proposed, or voted on through this channel.

Recently, we have a proposal regarding whether we post Roopt DAO's video content on SNS.

３．Evaluation/Reward

This channel is used to confirm the distribution of rewards.

Rewards are distributed based on the evalution rule of project execution and performance on a task.
We also discuss the balance between performance and rewards, or the rules of this channel.

■Introduction to Projects and Tasks

Thus, we do things through 3 processes.
Now, let me introduce you to the projects and tasks.

１．Living

This activity is to set up and manage Kagurazaka shared house.
"Bed assembly" is one of those activities. We are planing to install a washer/dryer in the near future.
There are also category-specific channels on Discord about living.

・Gohan：Shall we cook lots of food and eat it together?

２．Posting

Ideas for articles and magazines will be shared in the editing and dissemination channel on Discord. Specific details will be discussed in online meetings. After drafting the article, an editorial team member will review it before publication. We want many people to enjoy writting, so we plan to publish an English version sas well.

３．Events

We hold community events, mainly study sessions.
Topics include "DAO Business Models" "NFT Uses" and "DAO Case Studies" Web3-related experts are invited to the shared house regularly.

■The important "Chat Room" channel

There is a "Chat Room" on Discord, a channel where DAO members chat freely. Probably this is the first channel you will look into when you join "Roopt Kagurazaka DAO."

The subject in "Chat Room"
・Call for members to speak about DAO operations.
・Ask questions about how to use the tool or purchase tokens.
・Introducing links to Web3 and DAO case studies, information on NFT.

Discord is an open community, so people who do not have tokens are also welcome to join. Because of that, various information is exchanged on Discord.
(Also, you may be invited for a drink).

Currently, there seems to be a lot of talk about general topics. I assume that as more people move into the shared house, there will be more talk about "living".
