GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL Day509 PRAISE THE LORD! 主をほめたたえよ

(Psalm 106:1) Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.　(詩篇106:1）主をほめたたえなさい! 主は良い方だから、主に感謝しなさい。主の慈しみは永遠に続くからだ。

The word translated ‘praise’ in Psalm 106:1 is an interesting word. 

詩篇106:1の「賛美」という言葉は興味深い言葉です。

It connotes throwing light on the names of God, celebrating God, declaring that He is dear to you, making a show about who your God is, commending your God, and glorifying Him.

それは神の名前に光を当てること、神を祝うこと、神があなたにとって大切であることを宣言すること、あなたの神が誰であるかを示すこと、あなたの神を称賛すること、神をほめたたえることを意味しているのです。

 As a child of God, it is your duty to praise the Lord. In scriptures, whenever God’s people praised Him for what He has done, He did more. 

神の子として、主を賛美することはあなたの義務です。聖書では、神の民が主がなさったことをほめたたえるたびに、主はそれ以上のことをなさったのです。

Do you want to see the God who cannot fail? Praise Him as the God who does not fail.

Do you want to see the God who wars for you and win battles for you?

あなたのために戦い、あなたのために勝利してくださる神を見たいですか？

 Start calling Him the Lord who is mighty in battle.

Do you want to see His healing power? Start calling Him the Lord who heals.

あなたは、主の癒しの力を見たいと思いますか？癒してくださる主と呼び始めましょう。

 Call Him the Lord by whose stripes you were healed. How about finances?

その打ち傷によってあなたがいやされた主を呼びなさい。経済的なことはどうでしょうか？

 Call Him the creator of the silver and gold, the source of wealth and blessings. 

銀と金の創造主、富と祝福の源である主を呼びなさい。あなたにはどんな奇跡が必要ですか？

What miracle do you need? Call Him in praise by that name. 

その名前を呼んで、賛美しましょう。

As you do, He will move on your behalf and reveal a greater dimension of glory that will produce tangible miracles for you today. Halleluyah!
