TouchDesignerを複数バージョン、ビルドを共存させて存在させておきたいときのメモ
Windows
installer
Windowsは簡単でここ最近のインストーラーでは Install parallel buildという項目がでてくる。
Touch Designerをデフォルトの
\Program Files\Derivative\
の中にバージョンごとのフォルダが作られる。
既にインストール済みの場合
・Stableバージョンをインストールする。
・C:\Program Files\Derivative\TouchDesigner099_STABLEというディレクトリを作って、インストールしたC:\Program Files\Derivative\TouchDesigner099をディレクトリごとコピーする。
・Experimentalバージョンをインストールする（この時点でTouchDesigner099ディレクトリにはExperimentalバージョンが入っている）。
・C:\Program Files\Derivative\TouchDesigner099_EXPERIMENTALというディレクトリを作って、インストールしたC:\Program Files\Derivative\TouchDesigner099をディレクトリごとコピーする。
・デスクトップにそれぞれのショートカットを作成する。
extract
.exeに対して /extractが定義されているみたいなのだが、うまく試せなかった。
誰か詳細を教えて下さい。
commandでインストーラのあるディレクトリに移動し以下のコマンドを打ち込みます(バージョン番号は適当なものに変更してください)

TouchDesigner099.2017.16620.64-Bit.exe /extract
そうすると同じ階層に 'D34AD2E' のようなランダムな文字列のフォルダができています。
そのフォルダ名をバージョン番号(今回は2017.16620)に変更します。
2017.16620/bin/TouchDesigner099.exe を実行すると開くことができます。
/DIR="x:\dirname"Overrides the default directory name displayed on the Select Destination Location wizard page. A fully qualified pathname must be specified. May include an "expand:" prefix which instructs Setup to expand any constants in the name. For example: '/DIR=expand:{autopf}\My Program'.
/ExtractWill extract all relevant files from the installation into a folder. In combination with /DIR the target folder can be specified. This can be useful if the installation process is failing for some unknown reasons. In the extracted folder structure, the TouchDesigner.exe executable can be found in the bin folder.
windows based systemにおいては
command lineで使えるものらしい。
MacOS
基本的にはアプリケーションごとに違う名前を付けていて管理してればおｋ
バージョンネームをつけておくのが一番わかりやすい。
・Just drag the application to any convenient location. If it conflicts with another TouchDesigner build already there, select "Keep Both" from the pop-up dialog. To keep it more organized, you can rename the application file to include the build number.
・Right-clicking on any TouchDesigner file and selecting 'Open With >' will show a list of all TouchDesigner builds on the computer, just select the one you wish to use.
Permissionに関するエラーが出た際はこっち。
