原爆
広島市への原子爆弾投下（ひろしましへのげんしばくだんとうか）は、第二次世界大戦（太平洋戦争）末期の1945年（昭和20年）8月6日（月曜日）午前8時15分、連合国のアメリカ合衆国が、枢軸国の日本の広島市に対して原子爆弾「リトルボーイ」を実戦使用した出来事である[2]。これは、人類史上初の都市に対する核攻撃である。この核攻撃により当時の広島市の人口35万人(推定)の内、9～16万6千人が被爆から2～4ヶ月以内に死亡したとされる[3]。
終戦間近の昭和20年（1945年）8月6日広島に人類史上初の原子爆弾が投下されました。その11日前の7月26日午前9時26分大阪市東住吉区田辺2－3（現在の田辺小学校北側）に大きな爆弾が投下されました。
大阪市が作った「昭和20年大阪市戦災概観」という資料には死者7人、重軽傷者73人、焼失倒壊戸数485戸、罹災者1645人とその爆弾による被害が記録されています。
実はこれは模擬原爆という特別な爆弾でした。模擬原爆というのは長崎に落とされたプルトニウム原爆（ファットマン）と同じ型、大きさ、重さで、中身がTNT火薬の約5トンの爆弾です。
米軍は終戦近い7月20日から日本各地への空襲に紛れて模擬原爆を49発も投下しました。模擬原子爆弾による被害は死者400名、負傷者1200名を越えると記録されています。
On August 6, 1945, near the end of the war, the first atomic bomb in human history was dropped on Hiroshima. Eleven days earlier, on July 26th, at 9:26 a.m., a large bomb was dropped on 2-3 Tanabe, Higashi-Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka (to the north of the current Tanabe Elementary School).
The ``Summary of War Damages in Osaka City in 1945'' prepared by Osaka City records the bomb damage: 7 people died, 73 people were seriously injured, 485 houses were burned down, and 1,645 people were affected.
In reality, this was a special type of bomb called a mock atomic bomb. The mock atomic bomb is the same type, size, and weight as the plutonium bomb (Fat Man) dropped on Nagasaki, and uses approximately 5 tons of TNT gunpowder.
Starting on July 20, near the end of the war, the U.S. military dropped 49 mock atomic bombs under cover of air raids across Japan. It is recorded that over 400 people were killed and over 1,200 injured by the simulated atomic bomb.
