令和6年7月歌舞伎座公演『七月大歌舞伎』において、市川團十郎主演による通し狂言『星合世十三團』（読み：ほしあわせじゅうさんだん）の上演が発表された。

『星合世十三團』は、3大名作のひとつ『義経千本桜』のドラマ性に焦点をあて、娯楽性に富んだ演出や新たな趣向、宙乗り、大立廻りを取り入れ、源平の時代に生きた人間たちの運命と修羅を描いた壮大な物語。

2019年7月の初演時には、市川海老蔵（現：團十郎）が碇知盛やいがみの権太、狐忠信をはじめ、主要な十三役を鮮やかな早替りで魅せるというこれまでにない試みも好評を博した。

``Hoshigosei Jusandan'' focuses on the drama of ``Yoshitsune Senbonzakura'', one of the three great masterpieces, and incorporates entertaining production, new ideas, midair riding, and large standing mawari, and depicts the life lived in the Genpei era. An epic story depicting the fate and asuras of humans.

At the premiere in July 2019, there was an unprecedented attempt in which Ebizo Ichikawa (currently Danjuro) played 13 main roles, including Tomomori Ikari, Gonta Igami, and Tadanobu Kitsune, with vivid rapid changes. It was well received.
