5 Tiers Support System for Golf Course

Golf Course Business has many issues in 2021. Big one is that Professional Players hit the balls longer so longer courses are needed but not for amateurs. Simply it is brought by laziness of R&A. They may solve it soon. What they can’t solve soon is how to support amateurs-only-courses to get more amateur players all over the world. We don’t need to play Baseball nor Soccer so much but Golf because it is the King of Sports.

Golf Courses are measured by 5 tiers.

Top: LPGA & PGA players stand on
2nd: Expensive fee is justified
3id: Not all bad
4th: Rough, just rough in many ways
5th: must be forgotten

Top & 2nd may be kept well till 2050 because of many guests. Level of 3id & 4th will decide the future of amateur golf environment. If they are cheap & clean to play, we can get more amateurs. Top & 2nd must support others and its support will be benefit for them via more players or fee of TV view numbers of tournaments etc.

Top & 2nd donate to some fund run by organisation such as LPGA etc, its fund donate 3id & 4th courses evenly to keep their course & house clean.

Some players on 3id & 4th like junior golfers or reasonable price lovers can work in 1 hour or 2 each day for golf courses to save their spendings. Those voluntary players learn well how to work via textbooks or videos on the internet, of course. Main work of green keeper is not to clean their green but teach for them just like swing coach for player.

Especially short courses must be supported well to attract amateurs to play because only those courses will be effective for amateur’s improvement. Those support is not only money but also strong recommendation to play there. It is kind of obligation to play there for amateurs before they complain their poor skills. In general, most of the amateurs start to play golf so poorly. Every golf staff must do something to avoid that tragedy at all cost.

I’m not sure ideal numbers of golf courses all over the world nor each nation. I hope that someone will find them out. Before they are found, numbers of 5th courses will be counted by skilled green keepers or staffs etc.
