NITROID RESISTANCE #ONE

This is a collection of works that expresses the figures and lifestyles of people who confront the current system and structure in a dystopia (anti-ideal world) through bioengineering and expansion against the newly proposed utopia (ideal world) in a world where the strong dominate the weak, set in the future in the year 2XXX.

NITROID portrays "people fighting against the present to obtain an ideal future in the distant future" as its characters.

If we translate this to the present day, the rich and powerful use the money they take from the poor to buy new environmentally friendly cars, expensive food products that take animal welfare into consideration, and buy morality through the SDGs, while even the poor are told that they are kind to the poor, that the poor who cannot care for the environment and the world are poor because they are poor. The present age of denial is described as a dystopia (anti-ideal world), and the breakaway from it is described as an ideal world (utopia).

The meaning behind "NITROID

Nitro = explodes or accelerates with the slightest vibration
Droid = autonomous machine that can do simple labor, etc.

It is a satire of the masses in the modern age, abstractly representing people who "work like machines in a life that is contrary to the ideal, a mind that seems to be about to break or explode.

In the setting, it is described as "bioengineering expansion and confronting the current system and structure," but in the present, it means to grow ourselves toward the ideal we desire and to open up the world in front of us that does not work or does not change easily.

It also expresses our desire to "start running, lift up our feet," and look forward together, because today the word "responsibility" fills up our bags.

The theme of this series is "resistance.

In the announcement image, the motif of diving from a high-rise floor became a picture of facing "society (the task at hand and oneself)" and diving into it.

The illustration is an abstract depiction of a character confronting the things (people, minds, and states) that stand in front of him or her in the modern world.
The barcode is engraved on the necks of all the characters, and the motif of futuristic clothing expresses how they are trapped in something while living, and how they are bravely opening up the future by "wearing the newness and the future". 

NITROID TOXICANT

The theme of this series is "poison".
The illustrations abstractly depict characters who stand up to be invaded by the rules and powers of society.
All of them wear thick protective clothing and gas masks, and the series expresses their quest to "protect themselves from society's poisons and free themselves from suffocation.

NITROID UNIVERS

The theme of this series is "Space.
The illustrations abstractly depict characters as they leap from the world in front of them into the wider universe.
The series expresses "the anticipation of a world we have not yet seen and the encounter with the experience of a different world we have not yet seen," with space-themed clothing, decorations, and other elements.

NITROID JAPAN

The theme of this series is "Japan.
Characters characterized by their own "character," such as sensitivity, emotion, and culture unique to Japan, are depicted abstractly as illustrations.
The series expresses "old Japanese words" and other Japanese words with Japanese motifs in clothing and decorations.

NITROID AREA X

The theme of this series is "one who has entered a new world.
The illustrations abstractly depict characters as they experience various worlds and dive into new frontiers.
The series expresses a world in which people have "opened up the future" by using their various personalities as weapons.

Various dates, number of issues, and prices will be announced for each series.

Future.

Proceeds from the NFT will be used to pay for the creation of a website and novelties for the enjoyment of the holders, as well as for activities to raise its own profile.

As for the community, we would like to create and expand a place where people with various dreams can gather and communicate with each other, rather than a system like WL, where only certain people are given preferential treatment.

We are also considering the production and distribution of VRM models once the production of the other series has settled down.
