After we graduated, we went to Italy to work with organic farmers and natural wine producers.
Gradually, we came to think we should spread this environment-conscious philosophy in our home country.

That's a beautiful story, but why through wine?

The culture of natural wine wasn't as well established in New Zealand at the time compared to places like California.
So we felt we had something to do.
Sara wanted to work on raising awareness particulary among women, as she believed that if women became more aware, men would follow suit.

That's clever.
Was the response in line with your expectations?

Yeah, it's just my personal view, but I can tell from responses to Sara's blog.
I think men tend to eat food, even if it's a bit unhealthy, while women think about whether it's good for them first.
