Japanese game maker Imagineer, with the support of the Canadian Curling Association, announces the release of LET'S PLAY CURLING!! for the Nintendo Switch.

Imagineer Co., Ltd.(Imagineer) announced that LET'S PLAY CURLING!! will be released on October 4, 2022.

Imagineer has translated “LET'S PLAY CURLING!!” for the Nintendo Switch™ into both English and Canadian French. In October 2022, the game was released in North America and Europe. In both regions, the downloadable version will be made available first, followed by the packaged version of the game, which will be released in Canada.

■What is "LET'S PLAY CURLING!!"?
This game simulates curling to highlight the exciting nature of this major winter sport.
Curling is sometimes referred to as "chess on ice" because of the amount of strategy involved in the game. In this game, players can experience immersive gameplay that feels as though you’re actually in a match. Players can have the pseudo-experience of sweeping the ice with a curling broom by simply shaking Joy-Con controllers.
Approved by Japan Curling Association, the stone's movements and momentum have been realistically rendered, so, whether you’re a first-timer or an expert curler, you will be sure to enjoy this game.

In the different modes of play, "World Championship" and "VS Curling," players take turns applying the same rules as an actual curling match, challenging you to use the most effective strategy and tactics.

In World Championship mode, you select a country and compete in a tournament against the best players in the world. Your goal is to come out on top.
In VS Curling mode, players can enjoy playing against each other in two teams, of up to four players each, with friends or against the computer.

To meet the needs of each player, all modes allow the number of ends to be changed.
Players can choose one of the operating modes: Full Mode, where they control all the team members, or Skip Mode, where they play as the position called "Skip.”

In Mission Curling, players take on challenges such as:"Score two or more points with one throw.""Remove all three of your competitor’s stones from the House."You can experience the thrill of a real curling match by using trial-and-error tactics, changing your strategy based on the situation, and even coming back from losing to achieve a victory in your final throw. The difficulty levels range from Beginner to Advanced, and at the Advanced level, you can experience the adrenaline of an elite player making a super shot.

Variety games include "Tic-Tac-Toe," in which players try to get three stones in a row, and "Penguin Pool," in which players drop stones with cute penguins on them into the water and compete for a high score.
Although the rules differ from curling, proficiency in timing and angling your shot is necessary for success. Players can enjoy this casual play mode with family and friends.

Also approved by Japan Curling Association, is a tutorial of basic rules and a "Curling Glossary," which both help even beginner players absorb knowledge that will enrich their curling game play.
