家に帰る途中の、いつもの道を歩いていて、大通りを曲がったら、細い田んぼ道。

その真ん中あたりに、少し広くなってる場所がある。

そこが、不意に、ステージに見えた。

雨上がりのその日は、蛙の大合唱がいつもの何倍もすごくて、恐ろしくて、でも、わたしは安心した。

思いっきり、歌えるからね。

星空と、冷たい空気と、土と草のにおいと。

それすらも失うくらいに。

歌い終わったら、空に向かって両手を振り、大地に、深く、お辞儀をした。

これは、思い出せるかぎりで、わたしの魂が、一番震えたときの話。
