Here we use a sloped screen separator to dewater pig waste. It is used to separate solid particles from liquid in pig waste, thereby reducing the moisture content and volume of the waste. The sloped screen is made of perforated mesh. The slope allows gravity to assist in the separation process. As the waste mixture flows over the screen, liquid components drain through the perforations while solid particles are retained on the screen.
