About One Coin English

こんにちは(^^♪　今日は２月から通っているワンコインイングリッシュについてお話したいと思います。昨日ちょうどレッスンがあり、備忘録のためにも英語で授業の内容を書いてみます！文法など間違いがあるかとは思いますが、悪しからず(;´･ω･)

I started to go to One Coin English since Feburary. One Coin English is an English conversation school. The reason why I chose this school is because the course fee is lower than the other English conversation schools. There are both group lesson and private lesson. I chose private lesson, so my course fee is a bit high(not one coin💦）, but I thought it's difficult for me to
 speak enough  when I choose group lesson. The teachers and the staff members of the school is very kind and polite. I want to blush up my English speaking skill at the school.

From now, I would like to talk about the lesson. When the lesson start, you can have a free conversation with the teacher. If it is your first contact with the teacher, the teacher would intruduce him/herself to you. Then, it it your turn to introduce yourself. You don't have to worry, because the teacher would ask you some questions when you couldn't introduce yourself smoothly. The questions that the teacher may ask are the following.
ex.
・ Where are you from?
・Why do you study English?
・What's your job?
If you have no confidence in introducing yourself, it is good for you to practice before the class. 

After the introduction, you can talk freely with the teacher. Yesterday, I talked about my hobbies. One of my hobbies is traveling, so I talked about the best place I visited and why it was the best. You can ask some questions to the teacher too. It is very interesting asking questions to the teacher, because there are many teachers who have different backgrounds. I talked with the teachers from Germany, Brazil, Colombia and Australia. 

Finally, it's time to learn with the text book. Yesterday, I learned the phrases to ask some favors to the hotel clerk. 
ex. ・Would you mind keeping the luggage for a while, until check-in please?
→　I have asked this question when I traveled, but I realized that I didn't use the polite word like "mind." 
・What time is the restaurant open?
→　As I said, "What time can we eat breakfast." The teacher said that "It's OK, but if I were the clerk of the hotel, I will answer "Any time is OK." So "What time is the restaurant open?" is better." ( *´艸｀)
・When is the checkout by(until)?
・When should wi chekout  by?

The lesson is 50 minutes. I heard that it is because of the Covid-19, so I hope it will soon become 1 hour. 50 minutes seem very short, even if I take private lesson. I go to the school twice in a month. If you want to learn more, you can choose once in a week too. Group lesson is once in a week and the course fee is low, so I recommend it.
