自動翻訳でH31京大英作文を英訳

自動翻訳は、かなり高精度になってきた。とくに、日本語から英語への訳は非常に使えるツールと言える。そこで、訳が難しい京大英作文を試してみた。

単数か複数かわかりにくい日本語から、単数・複数を明記する英語に翻訳する際、Google とみらいは複数にする傾向にあるようだ。

なお、「還元する」は化学選択者であれば reduce を知っている可能性はあるが（酸化還元反応は RedOx などという）、受験生はしらない可能性も高い。また、いずれの翻訳でも使われている vulnerable は、日本人には使いこなすことが難しい単語だ。
