江戸川で唯一現存する渡し船「矢切の渡し」に乗ってみる（2023年3月下旬）
都内で渡し船に乗れるのは今やこの「矢切の渡し（柴又渡船場）」だけなので
現存するうちに乗っておこうと思いたち、行ってきました。
昔のような櫂の船ではありませんが、当時の雰囲気は残っていると思います。
若い船頭さんが下世話な話（失礼！）で盛り上げてくれます。
江戸川の河川敷にある渡船場までは京成電鉄柴又駅から歩いて約8分ほど。
2023年3月現在、片道大人200円、子ども100円で乗船できます。
対岸にはアクセスしやすい交通手段がないので、「矢切の渡し」の運行時間内に戻るようにしましょう！
"Yagiri no Watashi" is famous for being sung by Japanese enka singer Takashi Hosokawa.
The Yagiri no Watashi (Shibamata ferry) is now the only place in Tokyo where you can take a ferry boat.
I decided to take the ferry while it was still in existence.
It is not an oared boat as it used to be, but the atmosphere of those days is still there.
The young boatman enlivens the experience with a bit of vulgar talk. (Excuse me!)
It is about an 8-minute walk from Keisei Dentetsu Shibamata Station to the ferry terminal on the banks of the Edogawa River.
As of March 2023, one-way boat rides cost 200 yen for adults and 100 yen for children.
There is no accessible transportation to the other side of the river, so be sure to return during the "Yagiri no Ferry" service hours!
