ポルシェのある風景

温暖化に伴いフランスやイタリア、ノルウェー、オランダ、そしてドイツまでが2025年までに燃焼エンジン（ディーゼル・ガソリン自動車）を禁止するという決議案を採択した。つまりあと10年ほどで僕が幼いときから憧れ親しんできたガソリンエンジンも終焉を迎えようとしている。

マフラーが奏でるサウンドなどの長い年月を重ねてきた車の世界も大きく変わろうとしている。

オープンカーは海を走れば潮の香り、山を走れば緑の香りに包まれて風を感じて走ることが出来る。そして、仕事が終わり幌を開け車を走らせれば風景を一変させて一気に非日常の世界に連れて行ってくれる。

車に乗り込んだときのオイルやガソリンの匂い、エンジンが奏でるサウンドなどを楽しみたくて、ポルシェがある生活を始めた。

オープンカーの幌を開け空を見上げ、風の詩を聴きながら6気筒自然吸気エンジンの振動を感じながら彩りのある風景を楽しみたい。

“Wind and smells and sound”
As global warming progresses, France, Italy, Norway, Holland, and Germany have adopted a resolution to ban combustion engines (diesel/gasoline cars) by 2025. That is to say that in about 10 years the gasoline engines I’ve longed for since I was young will be approaching their end. The world of cars, built up over a long period of time, just like filmcamera, is about to greatly change.
Going for a drive in a convertible by the sea, I smell the scent of the tide, when driving through the mountains I’m enveloped by the smells of nature and can feel the wind. And when work is over, I open the hood and go for a drive, and the landscape is transformed and I am instantly taken to another world.
As I wanted to enjoy the smells of the oil and gasoline when getting in a car, and the sounds the engine play.
When I was 50 years old I began my “Porsche life”.

I want to toss my Leica in the passenger seat, look up at the sky through the open top, listen to the poetry of the wind, feel the vibrations of the 6-cylinder NA engine, and enjoy the colorful scenery.
