【クロアチア留学日記】vol.1

Bok! クロアチアのザグレブに留学中のルナです:)

これから毎日英語日記を書いて、1週間に1回投稿していきます！
英語勉強のためでもあり、小さな思い出を忘れないためでもあります。
つまり自分の為のnoteなのですが、誰かの何かのプラスになれたら最高に嬉しいです。
今週火曜日から書き始めたので、月曜日はありません(笑)

#game night (1/17.Tue)

At 8 pm, two of my roomies suddenly came to my room and humbly said "do you wanna play a game…?" I was studying at that time. I hesitated because i knew I had to study more but at the same time, I was already sick of it. So, I said why not! And then unexpectedly 4 of us spent 2 hours playing an Italian game called Briscola which was super fuuuunnn!

#booking frights (1/18.Wed)

My winter semester will be finished at the end of January, and a kind of winter vacation is coming which will last one month. My best friend and I are organizing a big trip, with 4 countries for 2 weeks. This evening, we booked all transportation tickets, which took us more than two hours. Even so, I found myself who likes organizing a trip:) I'm extremely excited and hope I will pass all exams this month🤞

#rice cracker (1/19.Thu)

Last weekend, I traveled to Paris and met my Japanese friend who studies French in Paris right now. (I'll write about Paris one day.) There were a bunch of Asian stores, which made me so excited because I don't have them here in Zagreb. So I decided to buy some typical Japanese snacks for me and my friends as well. Then today, I gave them out to my friends finally. Every single one of them likes it. Guess what I gave them! It was "バカうけ" ^-^

#my phone in the mud (1/20.Fri)

I walked to my friend's room for 30 min instead of taking a tram. I'm into walking these days because my New Year's resolution is to be healthier than in 2022. Anyway, there was a road with mud on the way, but I didn't pay attention to it that much. You know what happened to me. I slipped because of the mud. Although I barely kept my balance so that I didn't fall down, I dropped my phone in the mud. And then, some of those are stuck in the charging port still now…

#snowing (1/21.Sat)

It snowed all day long. It looked pretty but at the same time, it was windy, which made me so cold. Let me tell you about today's temperature. The highest degree was 2℃. Still, I didn't put on my HEATTECH because it's always hot in the dorm's study room. It was totally my mistake. I miss the autumn vibe and warm temperature. I feel like I only need a t-shirt and short pants…

#seasoned rice (1/22.Sun)

I've never cooked rice in a pot while  in Japan because I have a rice cooker. But unfortunately, I don't have one now. I can't even find it anywhere. So now I came to cook rice with a pot and found it  quite easy. Today, I cooked seasoned rice with  shimeji and carrots. I always added too much water but this time, I made it very well!!! It was delicious. If somebody is going to study abroad, don't forget to take the key seasoning, Hondashi.
