本物の凄さ！

Cy Twombly の本は知名度に比べて、出回る数「印刷数」が少ないので、基本見たら手に入れるようにしているが、このラストペインティングは、買った時は失敗したなと思った。
けど、本物のペインティングをロンドン で見た時は感動した。Cy Twombly 最後のシリーズと言う情報も加味されていると思うが、作品の圧倒的なパワーにやられた。小さな家のファサードくらいのサイズのキャンバスに描かれた単純な子供の落書きみたいな線なのに、本の中の印刷物とは大違いであった。単純な線だけでここまで感動させられる、Cy Twombly は凄いと思った。やはりアートは本物を見るべきと改めて当たり前の事を思った時間だった。

Compared to the popularity of Cy Twombly's book, the number of "prints" is small, so I basically try to get it when I see it, but I thought this last painting failed when I bought it.

But I was impressed when I saw the real painting in London. I think the information called Cy Twombly's last series is also added, but I was hit by the overwhelming power of the work. It was a simple children's graffiti-like line drawn on a canvas about the size of the facade of a small house, but it was very different from the print in the book. I thought Cy Twombly was amazing, which can impress me so much with just a simple line. After all, it was time to think that art should see the real thing and take it for granted again.
