★Hope・・・必ずしも望み通りにいかないかもしれないけど、
期待や望みが十分にある場合を示す

例)週末のバーベキュー晴れるといいね、と思う場合は？
I hope it's sunny this weekend.

Hope + 現在形
I hope it is sunny this weekend.

Hope + 未来系
I hope it will be sunny this weekend.

Hope + 過去形
I hope she made it back safely last night.

★Wish ・・・期待や希望が現実では難しい、不可能な場合に使われる

I wish it were sunny./I wish it was sunny.

★Wishは相手の幸運を祈るときにも使われる

例)I wish you happy birthday.

例)I wish you a every happiness.

★未来の話

Wish + would + 動詞

例)彼タバコをやめてくれたらいいのにな
I wish he would stop smoking.

Wish + could + 動詞

例)私達とこれたらいいのに
I wish you could come with us

★現在の話

wish + 過去形

例)中国語喋れたらいいのにな
I spoke chinese.

wish + 過去進行形

例)今日雨が降ってなければ良かったのにな。
I wish it weren't raining today.

★過去の話

wish + had

例)もっと勉強すればよかったな
I wish I had studied harder.

wish + could +have

例)そこに、いたらよかったのにな。
I wish I could have been there.
