Saving my family.

My story started long time ago when I first came to Manila,  the capital city of the Philippines. I was  sixteen years old at that time and full of hopes. I know my family could not afford to send me in college but I tried to make it happen  inspite my eldest sister is taking bachelor in science in psychology in another university.
My uncle told me to take driving lessons so I could drive our jeepney and earn some money. He told me not to pursue my dreams because we have no money.
But I disappointed him, I went on my travel and hoping to find luck on my journey.
My town were I was born was simple, and taking works on government offices like teachers, police men, and town employees. And impossible for me to have employment and  good future if I am not a college degree graduate. And I could not rely on my parents who sells goods and earn a little; enough for family food and  pay electric bills.
I am the eldest son and we are five in the family. I was abled to enter college and just finished the second year of electrical engineering. Then suddenly,  I make a bold decision on my life, I decided to find work because my younger brother is coming to Manila.
Luckily, I found a good job that could support us in working in a hotel in nearby city. I discontinued my studies to give way to my younger brother to pursue his studies and help my eldest sister to finish her course. As we could not continue our schooling without me sacrificing my dream. And so my brother entered college and finished his hotel and restaurant degree course. And my eldest sister finished her degree course too.
And for me, I met a woman and married. Now, I am living in Japan and working in a glass factory. Maybe, I received my blessings in helping and saving my family  in another way.
I did not regret my past decisions and I am happy now on my life.
