About Japan|Wazawai (wo) tenjite fuku to nasu

Japanese proverb:
“Wazawai (wo) tenjite fuku to nasu.”

It means “Out of evil comes good.”

Although this pandemic is evil, much good comes, I think.

We can’t do nomal Instameet, so we’re doing online Instameet.

Not only I can meet Hai and Jessica who live in Australia, but also we can chat by text.

It’s very nice for me, because I can’t speak English.
(And I am better at writing than speaking in Japanese.)

Especially I joined Jess’s new women’s group Solidarity, and I could know many wonderful women who are friends of Jess.

Even if we’ll be able to do nomal Instameet, I want to keep this style from now on.

Although one of the ideas is monthly online event, it’s difficult a little.

Most of IMCJP members are enjoying the meet each other.
So the event without meet mayn’t be interesting.

But, if the event itself will be interesting, someone may enjoy.
I decided to make an interesting event.

I think the hints for success is the contest of nomal Instameet.

We don’t post photos to Instagram during Instameet.
We chose photos and post to Instagram after coming home.
(Deadline is 1-2 weeks later.)

And the organizers of the Instameet chose some of photos and give prizes to the people who take the picture.

The prized photos are featured on the group’s page and Instagram account.

In this instameet on May 30th,
I’m trying to another event that using this idea.

I reversed the order so that people who can not participate on the day can also enjoy it.

Not after May 30th, before May 30th.
