フリーランスでイラストレーターをしている皐月 恵(さつき けい)と申します。

私は東京都生まれ、千葉県在住です。誕生日は5月4日生まれです。
物心つく前から絵を描くことが大好きで、暇さえあれば絵を描いていました。本格的に絵を描き始めたのは高校生の頃からで、独学で勉強をし2019年からフリーランスのイラストレーターとして活動をし始めました。
携わったお仕事は書籍の表紙、グッズイラスト、広告イラスト、wedイラスト、動画イラストなどです。
ペンネームの由来は5月生まれなので「皐月」、「恵」は本名に恵の文字があるので使いました.｡ﾟ

(趣味)
絵を描くこと、音楽鑑賞、動画鑑賞、動物と戯れることです.｡ﾟ
・仕事ではない時でも絵を描くほど、絵が大好きです.｡ﾟ
・音楽でよく聴くジャンルはKPOP、洋楽、クラッシックが多いです。かなりのKPOPオタクです！ガールズグループが大好きで、TWICE、XG、EXID、Itzy、IZ*ONE、BLACKPINKなど好きです.｡ﾟ
・動画鑑賞はYouTubeでよく実況動画を観ます.｡ﾟ実況者さんが大好きで、TOP4メンバーが好きです。特に好きなのが牛沢さんです.｡ﾟ
・昔から動物が大好きで、よく動物園や水族館に行っていました。現在は2匹の愛猫ちゃん達と暮らしています.｡ﾟ数年前に他界してしましたが、大好きなハムスターちゃんと最愛の愛犬ちゃんもいました.｡ﾟ

(尊敬する作家さん)
天野喜孝さんです。天野喜孝さんがキャラクターデザインをされたバンパイアハンターDというアニメ映画を幼ち頃に観て、デザインの精密な美しさに衝撃を受けました。
今も絵を描いていて悩んだ時は見返す程に大好きな作品です。
観たことのない方は是非観てみてほしいです.｡ﾟ

(絵に対する思い)
私にとって絵は、普段表に出せない気持ちを気にせず出せるツールです。
品のない言い方になってしまいますが、本能的に好きなものや感情を描いています。
また、性格からか絵を描く際に妥協することは絶対にしたくないので、自分が納得するまで描きます.｡ﾟ
絵を描かないと生きる気力が出ないほど絵が大好きです。

(好きな絵のジャンル)
基本的にリアル調なタッチのイラストが好きで、ゴシックと和風が特に好きです。また描くのも得意です。
暗い雰囲気のイラストを描くのが得意です。
ピアスなどのアクセサリーを描くのが大好きで、刺青なども大好きです。

(お仕事への思い)
現在、絵のお仕事のみで生活をしているので全力で取り組んでいるのはもちろんなのですが、何よりも御依頼者様に喜んでいただけるよう、精一杯自分の力を振り絞って向き合っております。

(これから携わりたいお仕事)
キャラクターデザインが大好きなので、1番はゲームやアニメのキャラクターデザインに携わりたいです。
他にも小説の表紙や2dモデルなどのお仕事にも携わりたいと思っております。

Thank you very much for visiting. My name is Kei Satsuki and I am a freelance illustrator. I hope you enjoy my work. I was born in Tokyo, Japan.

I was born in Tokyo and live in Chiba Prefecture. My birthday is May 4th. I have loved drawing pictures since before I can remember, and I used to paint in my spare time. I started drawing seriously when I was in high school, and I started working as a freelance illustrator in 2019. The work I have been involved in includes book covers, goods illustrations, advertising illustrations, wed illustrations, and video illustrations. The origin of my pen name is "Satsuki" because I was born in May, and "Megumi" because my real name has the character "Megumi" in it. I also use "Satsuki" because I was born in May.

(My hobbies are drawing pictures, listening to music, watching videos, and playing with animals. I draw illustrations as a hobby and illustrations for work, which are different in the way I feel, and there are a lot of difficulties. I am a KPOP geek! I am quite a KPOP geek! I love girl groups like TWICE, XG, EXID, Itzy, IZ*ONE, BLACKPINK, etc. I love to watch videos on YouTube. I love the top 4 members. I especially like Ushizawa-san. I have always loved animals and used to visit zoos and aquariums. Currently, I live with my two beloved cats. He passed away a few years ago, but he also had a hamster and his beloved dog. I also had a hamster and a beloved dog who passed away a few years ago.

(I respect Yoshitaka Amano, who is an artist. When I was a child, I saw an animated movie called Vampire Hunter D, for which he designed the characters, and was shocked by the precision and beauty of the designs. I love this work so much that I still look back on it when I am having trouble drawing a picture. If you have never seen this movie, please give it a try. I hope you will watch it if you have never seen it before.

(Thoughts on painting)For me, painting is a tool that allows me to express my feelings that I normally can't show without worrying. It may sound unrefined, but I instinctively draw what I like and what I feel. I never want to compromise when painting because of my personality, so I paint until I am satisfied with my work. I love painting so much that if I don't paint, I don't have the energy to live.

(My favorite genre of pictures) Basically, I like illustrations with a realistic touch, and I especially like Gothic and Japanese style illustrations. I am also good at drawing. I am good at drawing illustrations with a dark atmosphere. I love to draw accessories such as earrings, and I also love tattoos.

(Thoughts on work) I am currently living solely on my drawing work, so of course I give it my all, but most of all, I give it my all to make my clients happy.

(Work you would like to be involved in in the future) I love character design, so I would like to be involved in character design for games and animations first and foremost. I would also like to work on novel covers and 2d models.
