KURIS Staking Pool's Donation Policy for Charity

◆　How much do we give to charity?

Suppose we are managed to mint more than 1 blocks on every epoch.
The total ADA we get throughout the year would be,

total ADA ＝　all epochs（365 / 5） x 340　＝　24, 820 ADA

90% of the total rewards goes to servers' running, maintenance, development cost and savings for further asset management. The remaining 10% goes to charity.

The actual amount depends on the market price,
but let's assuming the rate is $1.2/ADA, 

24,820ADA x 0.1 x $1.2/ADA = $2,979.4

$2,979.4 minus transaction fees, withdrawal fees and taxes would be the final amount we are giving to charity.

◆　Whom do we give charity?

○　Nonprofit organization
○　Educational charities
○　Natural disaster charities
○    Healthcare charities  

Sample criteria we consider prior to donating：

- Constantly reporting summary of activities and achievements
- Advocacy service for rare and intractable diseases
- Financially, educationally supporting orphans 
- Organizations helping child soldiers or clearing landmines
- Social issues which are not widely recognized
- Help recovering from natural disasters

◆　When do you donate money to the organizations? 

To minimize the transaction and withdrawal costs, and to ensure maximum of our donation money goes to charity, we limit our withdraw time to
only once.  
After thorough research on which to give donation for charity, somewhere at the beginning of December we proceed a wire transfer.

You will see a link to the page showing following report from my pool description and this current page, soon after they are ready.

- Total ADA rewards received
- Reasons why we choose the charity
- Date of the money transfer, final amount of donation
- Any summary reports we receive from the charity

※ In case of unexpected sudden event which needs urgent help, such as natural disasters, we might bring everything forward.

◆　About our missions

Our missions are,
1. Keep writing fresh articles to intrigue future ADA holders, more the holders, higher the ADA price, and eventually more rewards to the delegators.

2. To help bridge the gap between delegations and charities. As we set our fixed fee to the minimum 340, take 0% margin and the donation funds come from this 340, delegators are technically giving donations to charities by selecting our pool, without compromising their shares.

3. Through writing articles and actively get involved in the community, to support new SPO joining the Cardano ecosystem, realizing more decentralized governance.
