✨Setting up Opensea✨

・How to set up My Collections
・Types of contracts

After the initial registration in Oppensea,
we create a folder to manage the NFT.
I made a video about it. You can watch it if you want (^^;)
(for multiple subtitles)

There was a part where the way Opensea did things had changed, so I left it for a while because I wasn't sure 💦.

First, at the "Create a Collection" section,
Ⓐ: deploy your own contract
Ⓑ: Use Opensea's contract

You are faced with a choice.
(I went with as a result because it was easier)

I wonder what "deploy to contract" means?
Deploy" means to publish (contract) the NFT's smart contract (address) on the blockchain.
(A program that runs automatically on the blockchain)
→ NFT is thereby created.

The Ⓐ "deploy your own contract" is
The person who created the NFT will remain forever at the address as the "creator".
The name you created will be engraved, how nice it feels ✨.

On the plus side✨✨
・The brand value is easy to attach because you are marked as the "creator" of the product.
・You can sell your products in other NFT marketplaces.
・Can be operated regardless of platform.
・Transactions are easy to grasp.

The downside 😭
・Gas cost is high.
・You are responsible for your own contract operation.
・Maybe you need some programming knowledge⁈

☆☆☆
The Ⓑ "Use Opensea's contract " is
shared with multiple NFTs and is recorded on the blockchain as "Oppensea is the creator".

This does not identify the creator of the NFT.
Also, if the service of Opensea were to be terminated, the NFTs that we have created might be restricted or disappear! 💦.

But if you are a beginner or just doing it anyway,
And if it's not as costly as possible, I think Ⓑ is fine.

This one does not charge a "gas fee".
In addition, Opensea is responsible for dealing with any problems (e.g., behavior in contracting, etc.).

☆☆☆
The "record" can be viewed from your own Oppensea page under Details→Contract Address→
You can access the respective blockchain explorer (where you can search the transaction history) to check it.
Etherscan, Polygonscan, etc.

If you check with Polygonscan from the NFT contract address you created,
the token tracker is "Opensea".
If you set it to "deploy your own contract", the name you set up will be listed here.

This time, I checked the "deploy your own contract" checkbox and proceeded, but could not proceed due to many uncertainties.

It seems to be a little different from the items to be set in the "Use Opensea's contract" shown in the video.

👇The first stumbling block is that "you need to upload the metadata outside the opensea" to "deploy your own contract".
I don't know what I'm looking at when I look at the guide on Opensea 😂.

✨✨✨
In the long run,
If you want to grow and brand your NFT more
it would probably be better to create it with its own contract.

”chocofactory" a service that allows users to create NFTs with their own contracts without any programming knowledge, etc. Is such a thing necessary?
I will look into it in due course.🤗
