Moving to Kyushu is my dream

My name is Yukako. I am an illustrator.
I live with my mother and a cat, Fuku.

Moving

to countryside has been a kind of trend in Japan from some years ago. That is because people gradually noticed that to keep living in a big city is waste of huge electricity and we have to change our lives. Great East Japan earthquake caused such change of people’s values.

I also have a dream

to move to Kyushu, west side of Japan. There are beautiful nature, fresh seafood, and famous for potteries. Karatsu-Yaki, Imari-Yaki, or Arita-Yaki. Have you heard of the famous Japanese potteries? I would like to work the company making pottery. There are some friends of mine in Kyushu and that could be the reason.

My life here

is not so bad, but I need something exciting. My home is a bookstore in a small city. I live with my mother and a cat,Fuku. I have one brother who is married and I have a nephew.

I do illustrating and helping my friends’ work. I do video editing, teaching how to make YouTube, and drawing manga.My life is happy enough. I enjoy single life. It might be challenging to move unfamiliar place alone.
How do people find “Place you finish your life in”?

Some people live like their lives are journey, and some people live your hometown in their whole life.
There’s no answer which is right or not.
