富貴蘭の魅力：Vanda falcata orchids

富貴蘭等は、江戸時代から古典園芸として現在に至り栽培されている植物です。
野生のフウランの栽培を何年もの年月を掛けて、富貴蘭に作り上げ古典植物として収集、観賞の対象として世間に認められる植物として存在し、僅かに愛好家や趣味者によって細々と栽培されている。
野生のフウランは絶滅危惧種的存在になっていることから、富貴蘭の持つ魅力の葉の特徴（葉型、葉姿、葉の色）、花の特徴 (花の咲き方、花の形、花の色,、花の香り等）根の色などの美しさを広く知らしめ後世に伝えたい。

Vanda falcata orchids, known in Japanese as 富貴蘭 (Fu-ran), have been cultivated as classical garden plants since the Edo period and continue to be grown today. Over many years, the wild Vanda falcata has been developed into the cultivated Fu-ran through careful cultivation and has become recognized as a classical plant for collection and appreciation. It is now grown only by a few enthusiasts and hobbyists. As the wild Vanda falcata has become a species at risk of extinction, I wish to widely share and preserve the beauty of Fu-ran’s characteristics—such as leaf shape, leaf appearance, leaf color, flower blooming pattern, flower shape, flower color, flower fragrance, and root color—for future generations.
