The relations between Japan ＆ Asia

I agree with the statement ‘Improving relations with other Asian nations should be a priority for the Japanese government’.

I have three reasons for my opinion.

Firstly, Japan is a part of the Asian nations. Therefore, Japan should have good relations with other Asian nations to make friends with each other. For example, Japan has borrowed the Giant Panda from China since Japan and China signed the Treaty of Peace and Friendship in 1978. Speaking of giant pandas, Xiang Xiang at Ueno Zoo has recently returned to China. This could be a good example of friendship between nations.

Secondly, since Japan is also one of the developed nations, with the world's third largest gross domestic product in 2010, Japan should help another Asian nations to promote economic partnership more and more.

Finally, Japan fought with other Asian nations during the Second World War. Many people in Japan as well as Asian nations were wounded and killed at that time. They must come together to bring peace to the Asia and the world.

As I mentioned earlier, Japan should improve relations with Asian nations first and this is known as one of the rules of Japanese diplomacy.
