Is global overpopulation a serious threat ?

I agree with that global overpopulation is a serious threat to the future of humanity. I have three reasons for this opinion.

Firstly, I have heard the latest news that the current world population is about 8 billion at present. In such a situation, we will soon face shortages of food, water, shelter and other such basic human needs soon.

Secondly, we need to think about how we can cope with these difficulties and how we can cooperate with each other to solve these difficulties. A company called Muji has announced that it will sell some insect snacks made of crickets and so on. This could be a positive idea for the food shortage.

After all, humans have developed space food, space rockets and space stations to get there and stay there. If humans could live on some of the planets like Mars, it might be a cool idea to move there soon.

As I said before, we should come together, share ideas and work together to solve this serious threat to our future from global overpopulation.
