On this channel, I am showing What I felt when I saw masterpieces and famous paintings without any previous knowledges and how to feel masterpieces by your own heart. Through this my youtube channel, I would like to spread the culture of "Feel First Then Think" in this world.
On the other side, this channel has some videos about Japanese Ukiyoe prints with English sub.
Three videos about Utagawa Kuniyoshi who was active in Japanese Ukiyoe Printing field in about the same period when Impressionists borne in Europe.
First one is a video for his Ukiyoe Printings about Japanese Yukaku as a big shop in red light district.
Second video is for his Ukiyoe Printings about Japanese Bijinga were painted beautiful womans around Tokyo at his era.
Third video is some Ukiyoe about Kabuki as Japanese plays on the theater.
I'm intended to make more video like this. If I created the new video I'll add them here so Please check this page at intervals.
2 Wire Sculptures and Shadows Project
I presume when you see the sculpture created few numbers of wires it is hard to understand what it represented but if you see the shadow of the wire sculpture the shadow convinces you what the wire sculpture is. I was interested in the relation between the wire sculpture and the shadow of that, then I started this project.
Concept of "The Shadow as a Messenger"
"If divercity of our world was lost our world would be unstable."
I'd like to express this fact as my art work so I chose a shadow as an expressing media instead of wire sculpture itself.
Extinguished animals shows us that we didn't realised importance of their existence until they were extinguished.
By using of shadows of wire sculptures, I'd like to make people feel importance which hardly be felt from a animal's real body.
To do this, I created wire sculpted animals.
You can feel shadow shape's interests and expressed ephemerality of life.
