Why me... Why take it away from me... This isn't right... I hate this... Me... I don't need anything else... Give me back my dream2

During fatigue, vision narrows, and blind spots appear. It's a disease of the optic nerve. It's a progressive eye condition that, if left unchecked, can lead to blindness, accompanied by symptoms such as headaches and nausea, and in the worst-case scenario...

"Just by receiving appropriate treatment, you can slow its progression, so generally speaking, you don't need to worry about going blind. You can continue with modeling and your daily life without any issues."

"Um... What about soccer?"

"...Within the realm of hobbies, it's fine as a sport, but honestly, continuing to play in the same way as the condition progresses is difficult... It's unfortunate, but I have to say, the path to being a professional is challenging."

...Why me...

"Doctor... I haven't... done anything... wrong, have I? I just want to become the best in the world at soccer..."

...Why take it away from me...

"This isn't right... I hate this... Me..."

...I don't need anything else...

"Give me back my dream."

"Cancer" being the leading cause of death among Japanese people is well-known.

Currently in Japan, one in two people will develop "cancer," and one in four will die from it.

"Cancer" is considered the "national disease," afflicting half of the Japanese population.

While the number of cancer-related deaths is decreasing in many developed countries, it is steadily increasing in Japan.

One reason for this is the significant deficiency in Japan's approach to combating cancer.

I believe one of the reasons for this is the low level of "health literacy" among Japanese people.

The first step in reducing the risk of cancer is understanding its causes.

1st place: Smoking

2nd place: Infections

3rd place: Alcohol consumption

Sadly, aside from luck, the most significant factor contributing to cancer risk lies in these top three causes.

Smoking is believed to account for about 30% of the causes of all cancers.

While lung cancer is strongly associated with smoking, it has been discovered that tobacco-related carcinogens can lead to various other cancers such as bladder and stomach cancers.
