#198 チャットではなくChatGPT (Not chat but ChatGPT)

日本とシンガポールを行ったり来たりしている生活になると、日本で欲しい物をシンガポールにいる時に楽天市場などで購入し、日本に行った時に受け取るみたいなことを良くします。日本にいる時に買うと、日本にいる間につかないかもという恐怖、なんかたまに発送元が海外とかでやたら時間かかるときありますよね？（そんなことない？）。そんなとき宅配が黒猫さんだと超便利、発送の連絡が来てからホームページで配送日付を買えたりできます（普通？）

いやでもですね、結構それができないことが多いのです。ホームページには配送日程変更が表示されず、電話を配送センターにと書いてあるのですが、その番号が0570だったりすると海外からかけられずに詰みます。そうそんな時に問い合わせ先を探していると出てくるのがチャットボットというやつで、これがまたしんどい。そんなこんなで「チャット」という単語にはちょっと苦手意識があったのですが、最近「Chat GPT」というやつが我々の仕事にもガンガン参入中。響きが苦手とか言っている場合じゃなくなりました（笑）

なんなら読売Online(2023)の記事によると、アマゾンにChatGPTが書いたと思われる本が200冊以上見つかるという噂もあるこのサービスですが、株式会社SheepDog (2023)の経営者300人対象の調査によると知っている人が全部で40%でその中でも使ったことがあるという人が14%（左の図）。おーー。いや、まだ思ったほどでは無いか。まあそうですよね。出たばっかりだし。Twitterを眺めていると大騒ぎだったので、なんとなく認識がずれてました。修正修正（笑）

ちなみになぜか年代別知らない人という数字も出てました（右の図）。若い順に知らない人が多いかとも思いましたがそうでもない。30代がやや高。うん？というかこの調査経営者に対する調査だった。ということは20代の社長と30代の社長の意見！スゴ。いやー、自分の20代、30代を考えると社長やってるの凄い（遠い目）。でもそうなるとどんな業界の経営者かによって数字はだいぶ違いそうだから、まあ年代別グラフはあまり意味ないか。そうですね。

In life back and forth between Japan and Singapore, there is a case that I buy things online which I need in Japan when I'm in Singapore and receive it when I'm in Japan. I'm just scared of not being able to receive deliveries while I'm in Japan since the stay is mostly shorter than 2 weeks. It sometimes takes longer when the originator is overseas (Well not that frequent in Japan). Kuroneko (Yamato delivery) actually works good. Everything can be controllable from online including delivery date. That is so convenient for my case. 

However it is not always the case in Japan. There are many delivery suppliers which doesn't allow us to do so. No forms on web site and asking us to call to the delivery center. But the number starts from "0570" which doesn't allow us to call from overseas… (Sad). Then what they have instead is the traditional chatbot which is … very stressful to me. I have never had the needed answer from Chatbots and I kind of disliking it and even the word "Chat" Lol. But recently "Chat GPT" is penetrating into our work and I can not say I don't like the word anymore… Hahahaha.

There is a rumor (Yomiuri online, 2023) that there are more than 200 books written by ChatGPT are sold in Amazon… Scary. Now I'm wondering how popular it is in Japan. According to SheepDog (2023) survey to 300 presidents of company, around 40% know have heard of the name and 14% have used it (left chart). Oh… Umm. Not as popular as I though?? Well actually that is understandable. The service just has been launched. It seems I had a wrong perception just from Twitter analysis. I have to remind me again that the world is too biased… Hahahaha.

By the way, there are figures "by age group" which shows % of people who don't know about ChatGPT. I expected that the younger the lesser but it seems it is not that simple (right chart). Um? This research is for those why run a company… means those answers are from 20s/30s entrepreneurs!! Considering of how I spent my 20s and 30s, I respect them so much… Well, if that is the case, the figure would be fluctuated by industry they belong to and I don't think the age group has industry quota, Hahahaha. So practically this age group chart could be a bit meaningless… I think Lol.
