#200 お肌のケアが気になる男性 (What do males care about "after mask" life?)

社員旅行の北海道から帰ってきました！いや、そうなんです今年は２社で社員旅行に参加したのですが、どちらも北海道だったのです。最高。今回はシンガポールメンバーでの北海道上陸。雪を見るのが始めてという若いメンバーもいて、行く前からテンションが上ってましたがやはりよかった。宗教・思想・アレルギー、好き嫌い（？）などの理由から懸念されていた食べ物もだいたい楽しんでいただけた様子。来年もいけるように仕事がんばろ。

そういえば日本滞在中の３月１３日からマスクについてのアナウンスメントが日本でもあり、屋内でも「好きにしてよし」（解釈間違ってる？）ということでしたが、花粉症がすごすぎて全然無理でした。しばらくマスクで頑張ります。。。みんなどうしていくんだろうなぁ。ちなみに、男性陣でも「あら、マスク外すってなったら○○どうしよう」っていうのが少し話題のようです。

上の2つのグラフは株式会社MTGが3月頭におこなった、20代～40代男性「マスクが外れた際の意識調査」の結果になります。左のグラフによるとそもそも「よし！マスク外すぞ」っていう方が約37%。少ない？多い？どちらにしてもこの方達はひどい花粉症では無いのだろうと思うので羨ましい（個人的な発言）。着用するという方が52%。なんか直後に電車に乗ったりした感じでいうともう少し多かったような気もしなくもない。個人的にはうっかり忘れてしまったときにも「はっ！」ってならずにすむのはちょっとありがたい（笑）実はシンガポールでも一度忘れて、バスに乗れなかったことがあります。。。

ちなみに右のグラフが、13日以降とくに気になるみだしなみという項目。なんかそもそも関係のありそうな、なさそうな項目がありますが、少なくとも29%の男性が肌のお手入れどうしよう！って思っているというのはなるほど、と思いました。香りや体臭ケアというのは、周りの人がマスク取り始めたら自分の匂いを強く感じてしまうという危機感かしら。。。ちょっと怖い。眉毛のケアだけは、マスクを付けていてもガッチリ見えた部分だからあまり関係ない気がしてますが、実は何か関係あるのかしら。知りたい。

Just came back from company trip from Hokkaido. If you have heard about this a month ago, thanks you are a big fun of my blog Lol. I went to Hokkaido twice in a month for different company trips. It was so good. Awesome food with lovely Singapore members. There was no troubles, well no "big" troubles and lots of fun! It really motivated me to work hard to make the next year trip happen!

By the way, there was a government announcement in Japan about masks on 13th Mar. We are no longer "recommended" to wear masks. Yes, Japan is the country of peer pressure! However I couldn't make it simply because strong hay fever (Sad). I'll live with a mask for a while… How are people doing now? (I'm back in Singapore). Actually in Japan, It seems males also have concern like how should I care XXXX if "off" mask is recommended.

Charts above are referred from MTG (2023), which collect opinions from 20s to 40s male about "Perception about life after masks". Basically only 37% of men confirmed that they will take off masks. I don't know if this number is bigger or smaller than expected but at least I'm jealous of those since they don't suffer a lot from hay fever (Very personal opinion)… On the other hand, 52% said they will still use masks. My observation right after 13th Mar seems to be more than that. Personally I'm happy about this because I don't need to get panic even if I forget to have it along Lol. Actually even in Singapore, I have once rejected to get on a bus since i forgot to bring it, Hahahaha.

The right chart was the concern of males about "after mask life". It seems 29% of them actually have concerns on their skin care. Oh… I guess those are once who used to do skin care but stopped it since Masks hided them from people?? (No?). I'm also interested in concern about body odor! How does it work? Maybe they did care less about it because people care less about those due to masks?? This is really interesting and a bit scary to me if I do have to care about it in the future… Well eyebrows are definitely the parts that is not hidden by masks!! But I'm so interested in for those 12% if they have particular association with masks! Can you think of any?? Let me know if yes…
