(Is one year long enough to make a decision on leaving the company?)
(English follows)

Surprisingly it April a season of new semester in Japan. I got up late today so I saw many first year primary school students with a new bag when I went jogging. Although I don't have a kid, they are shiny! I tried to duck squat down to see their view which was really fresh to me. Cute. So cute!
Also it is the season of starting working in Japan. What do I mean? Japan has an interesting job hunting system for new graduates. They do all together at once and start working at the same time which is April. New graduate training has been started in our Japan office. How does it work generally? Maybe some have settled into their team or started an actual job. What I see often in this season basically is many complaints to youngers from olders saying youngers are less patient or leave company very soon which I don't think it could happen suddenly. So today, I would like to see some data to get a peace of trueth.
The left chart is from MHLW (2021) which shows the annual trend of uni fresh graduates leaving a company in a year. This is exactly what I wanted to see. Compared with youngers 20 year ago (Me!), turnover rate is slightly lower while it is slightly higher than youngers 30 year ago. Yes. Now i can disagree on people saying youngers are less patient… Hahahaha. Well this is only turnover within a year so I have no idea how does it go in a long run though. But it is good if job flexibility has increased in Japan. Roughly 1 person out of 10 people leave in a year. Is it high or low in your country??
By the way, the right chart (Albalink,2023) shows the reasons why people left the company in a year. The top reason (30%) is "Bad human relationship"… Yes you better leave Lol. There are 5% of people who left because of unpaid salary or overtime… That is even worse. I'm happy that my company is not like that(Maybe). I'm actually wondering how those 10% of people who left the company in a year do? I actually want people to leave the evil companies which exploit a lot from people. Japan is the society that people don't change their job often and tend to be exploited from those companies! I personally want to see those companies get out from the market by people leaving from them!… Well could it happen? Lol
