役に立たないものは、愛するほかはないものだから

デザインを学んでいると、どんどん「デザイン的ではないもの」に対して寛容で無くなります。一番こわいのは、そうして自分の住む世界の幅を小さくしてしまうことです。
デザインを学ぶことの真髄は「なんでも無いもの」に美を感じ、法則性を発見することです。朝起きて夜寝るまでずっと、身の回りにあるものにしあわせを感じる能力を身につけること。
