I'm reading "Still Life," and it turns out it's a short story. I thought it was a novel. The ending is unclear, and it feels forced.

Reflections on reflexive thoughts:

Consideration of thoughts that occur before conscious thinking. Uncontrollable reflexive thoughts seek drama.

When I embrace crisis and add dramatic elements like anxiety to those thoughts, they become activated.

So, it's better to observe without simply agreeing.

Indeed, the dual meanings of the word "Reflections," encompassing both the idea of reflection as in light bouncing off and introspective contemplation, add an interesting layer of complexity.
