What we want from life

Nowadays, many people say that young people really don't know what they want from life.
In Japan, many young people tend not to get full-time jobs. They prefer part-time jobs. It seems that we can get any jobs we want, if we try very hard. Unfortunately sometimes it's not true, but if we compare the situation in the past, there are much more opportunities to get jobs now than before.
It's very lucky for us but some people can't decide what they want to be. Because there are too many choices.
In my opinion, Japanese education is partly responsible for this situation. Many children are just forced to study without any interests. And many schools have some rules which could be very strict sometimes. So many children have to follow the rules. These ways of education make children really passive. After school, there is nothing to force them but they don't know how to be positive properly so they might lose their way.
This thought isn't applicable to all of us but some people might be in a situation like this. I don't know what the solution is, but anyway even though we are in passive education, it's very important to express our individuality. We don't have to be like other people. Just as you are is the best. Then, we might be able to find what we want from life.
