Communication between horses and people

Having lived with horses on a one-to-one basis, I am convinced that there are certain things about 'horse-to-human communication', and I was pleased to see some of these things stated so well on Facebook.

In particular, "As an equestrian 100 years ago stated, the tone of voice is more important than the meaning of the words, and the same meaning is spoken by many equestrians. The fact that it is often stated that we should treat horses with kindness suggests that the (European) people of long ago knew this as a matter of course from experience, but it has only been verified by recent experiments. Horses' heart rate jumps at even the slightest human complaint, and a happy sound has a calming effect. Horses also sense a human's mood the moment they appear in the stables, so you should be careful what mood you go to see them in. Moreover, horses can learn from past experience what mood a person has been in when they come to visit them. In other words, they will like people who seem happy and in a good mood, and they will remember people who are in a bad mood and dislike them."

This was the part I wanted to say out loud.

I believe that not a few people, whether in the West or in the East or in the West, whether ancient or not, are aware of the essence of the horse, and that is why people are attracted to the "fascination of the horse".

Horses have a great ability to read human emotions (human personality can be both medicine and poison in bringing out the horse's potential) The following is a summary of the original article. Recent research has demonstrated that horses are adept at reading people's moods and emotions through their voices, body language and facial expressions. The conclusion is that horses learn the personality of each person and think, "I like this person" or "Here comes that jerk again". Through their evolutionary process, horses have evolved the ability to quickly detect danger from their surroundings and from minor changes in the body and facial expressions of their fellow horses. Horses can also communicate with each other through small changes in facial expression, and horses can similarly read human emotions from our body language and facial expressions. In the famous words of Malaika de Jong, a famous Dutch horsewoman I studied with, you will never have to tell your horse that you are sad, happy, confident, angry or relaxed He already knows. -long before you do. "You will never have to tell your horse that you are sad, happy, confident, angry or relaxed. He already knows." The saying goes. This is a given for equestrian practitioners, and they need to be aware of it and constantly confront their own emotions. Experiments have shown that when people are passive and people are dominant, all horses prefer the passive person. Experiments have also shown that even when not communicating to the horse (e.g. talking on a smartphone beside the horse), the horse was able to read the human's emotions. Even with recorded audio, when the animals were made to listen to angry and happy voices, they were reported to reveal more alertness to the angry voices. Also, when a laughing face was combined with an angry voice, the horses were ? The same meaning has been expressed by many equestrians, as even 100 years ago equestrians stated that the tone of voice was more important than the meaning of the words. The fact that it is often stated that we should treat horses with kindness suggests that people in ancient times (in Europe) knew this from experience as a matter of course, but it has only been verified by recent experiments. In other words, they learn to like people who seem happy and in a good mood, and they learn to dislike people who are in a bad mood. A professional trainer in the USA once said: "The horse knows whether you like him or not. So you have to really like the horse to get 100% cooperation from him". Relationship Bank AccountRelationship Bank Account is a term in the world of horsemanship that was first taught to me by one of my mentors, National Champion Mustang Maddie, and is also used in this article to describe the positive and negative experiences a horse can have. It also states that every positive and negative experience increases or decreases a horse's confidence balance, and that a single negative experience has twice the negative effect. It is not based on your subjectivity, but on [how the horse feels]. If the horse is uncomfortable, minus two, if the horse feels good, plus one. A horse is like a child. They don't listen, they do badly, they are stupid horses, why can't you do it? If you are complaining, the horse will think you are a jerk and don't want to work hard... That's what they're thinking. A great equestrian is the result of a steady stream of good experiences, day in and day out. Even a savings account is a mountain of dust. Malaika de Jong said that she trains her horses by telling them, "You are the best horse in the world", but it is impossible for a horse to perform and show the high level of exercise of Dressage without even touching the reins, unless the horse is really motivated. As Karen Rolf of Dressage Naturally also stated, "You should be the cheerleader for the horse". The horse's ability to read the human mind may be felt in everyday life. Some professional instructors understand this empirically. In truly high-dimensional communication, the connection between the hearts and minds of man and horse is essential. In other words, it is not communication that makes the horse do things by using a whip or a spur, but communication where the horse says "I will do it for you" of its own free will, based on the human's "question". This is what we mean.
