Shikoku trip [day4]

This article is my Shikoku trip forth day!

I stayed DogoOnsen last day.
So I got up and entered hot spring.
Bathing first thing in the morning was pleasant!

Sad thing, It was rainy.
Today's plan was go to Shikoku Karst.

Shikoku Karst is spectacular.
but It hopes under sunny. 

I had my doubts but decided to go.
if there will be bad, I will go to there again tomorrow.

result is …

Shikoku karst but …Foggy, can't see anything.

There was a windmill.

Foggy, I couldn't see anything.

It's I expected.
So I didn't disappointed.

after that, I went Kochi prefecture.

They are historical figures front of Kochi station

I saw Kochi castle.

Kochi castle

Kochi castle was built by Kazutoyo Yamauchi in 1601.
He was military commander in Sengoku period.

I could see Kochi city from balcony of Kochi castle

after seeing Kochi castle, I ate some Kochi local food!

This gyoza is called "yatai gyoza"

This gyoza is "yatai gyoza"
yatai is stall.

People in Kochi are said to eat yatai gyoza after drinking.

sashimi of bonito

Sashimi of bonito was very delicious!
this is very thick. 

It could be eaten with salt alone.

Sanuki udon

after eat local foods, I went to Katsurahama.

Katsurahama

Katsurahama is beach. but we can't swim.
because there is raging wave.

I could see raging waves

I felt the power of nature's stormy seas!
It's very beautiful and a little scary.

I felt scary, because stormy seas was making amazing sound!
