While playing the piano and singing, I felt an urge to record it, just for the sake of capturing the moment.▼

Behind-the-scenes story:

I was determined to give shape to this song, which led me to create this album.

It was during the summer of 2022 when I contracted COVID-19 (although I never got officially tested by a doctor, my at-home test kit confirmed it).
My mental state took a heavy toll.

After that, I had spent 10 hours drinking with a man who claimed to see God, and when I looked into his eyes, a melody and lyrics suddenly came to me.

The words and tune flowed out of me effortlessly, but I couldn't settle on a title for a while. Then the words "inspiration" and "illumination" came to mind, and even though I considered using the Japanese word "閃光" (meaning "flash of light"), the sound didn't feel quite right. Instead, I found comfort in the English word "inspiration."

In this era, I believe that if we follow our intuition, instincts, flashes of inspiration, and feelings, we will open up the necessary path for our lives.

The photo of the tree I took by chance shows a blue light in the center, which is supposedly a representation of God. I pray that you too may receive divine blessings and guidance in your life.
