"Jack Move" The Cyberpunk JRPG with Awesome Pixel Animation

Great pixel animation makes me happy just to look at it, don't you?

This time, I will introduce "Jack Move". Play as a hacker who fighting to mega-corporation for powerless people in the cyberpunk world.

It is produced by Taipei based game developer "So Romantic", led by Edd Paris. Already opened the Steam store page and under development for a Q1 2021 launch.

"Jack Move" features this amazing pixel art animation, called "high bit" pixel art. It calls itself that, and the game has such neat pixel art. You can see what it's capable of in the video posted to a tweet.

Combat is turn-based, with various software like "attack", "defense", "buffs". Loading the right software for the situation will give you the advantage in the battle. Choose software and build decks wisely.

So, Hardware upgrades can be installed more software and leads to the protagonist's power-up. Some powerful moves can be activated by pressing the button at the right time, as shown in the video above.

Street punks, gangs, PMCs, Secret Service Agents, and even a terrifying monster born from failed cyber experiments, There is a lot of cyberpunk-ish enemies.

The protagonist is Noah, a mysterious veteran who served in a war called the Data Wars. After leaving the military, she became a hacker for hire, and keep fighting to corporation for people.

One day, She received an emergency message from her father who has been immersed in researching "Digital Reanimation" after his wife was dead. She dives into a world of murder, kidnapping, dark research, and the corporation that would steal it for their own ends: Monomind.

The fight to save his father soon turns into a battle for the future of the human race.
