Birds Aria 

Sometimes I woke up to a singing of birds
at a dawn in the mountain house in Karuizawa.

The night creature’s nocturne is ends 
by the sound of early birds.

I wonder what time it is.

The birds start corresponding to each other 
around four in the morning.

Karuizawa is the place for ealy birds.
There are not much night life going on around here.

I wake up in one morning 
to this particular birds singing.

That is the Figaro’s song sung by Robin Williams
in the opening scene of the movie “Mrs Doubtfire”.

Recalling I heard a news of him passed away
in the Rachel Maddow show,
when I was walking mountain path home in Karuizawa 
one Summer at sundown.



The birds pitch is not exactly the same as 
the song but it is close enough to my ear.


Once I aknowledged the bird singing the song,
I just hear the song in it no matter what.

The song is called Largo al factotom 
from the Opera “The Barber of Seville”

I remember the story of French composer Olivier Messiaen
who once came here and took down birds tweets 
in the music notation walking through the bird sanctuary 
guided by the area’s landowner and 
the bird lover Kasuke Hpshino.

I have been searching for the bird in Youtube.
No luck so far.

Is it Wren?
Or Thrush？
